I CrossFit because...

I really enjoy every aspect CrossFit entails. From weightlifting to gymnastics to cardio to metabolic conditioning and more… I find myself into all the areas of fitness knowing that they all have their purpose and knowing in turn, the term “Being Fit” in CrossFit is raised to a whole new standard. I CrossFit because I want to be Fit, I want to chase that title while desiring to be healthy, and have the ability to enjoy life just as much outside the gym as I do inside it. It’s also a way to get away from everything that my life demands of me for that 1 hour of the day I’m in the gym moving around, lifting a barbell and pulling myself on that pull-up bar to name a few. It’s a stress reliever for me too and CrossFit simply perks me up, brings me into a good frame of mind and helps me feel energized for the remaining of the day after my workout. It does wonders in more than one way for me and I am determined to continue in this great sport of CrossFit!

I Coach because...

I care. I love the interaction with the community that I am apart of at CFOS and getting the chance to help the members of this great community out is one great way to serve them. To have the ability to guide them, prepare them in and through a workout, answer the numerous questions they have, and watch them move themselves is exciting! Not only that but also see how they progress in the gym and even better…outside the gym. To hear the quality of life for the members improving is the neatest impact we as coaches can have. When “Community” is the central focus like it is at CFOS, that’s when coaching becomes enjoyable and simply a blast! It’s a challenge at times but that’s okay. With it being a challenge, it helps me as a coach grow in numerous areas and learn how to interact with the amazing amounts of personalities that a CrossFit community offers.

My favorite "Cheat Meal" is...

One of two actually. Either Fried Perch with Sweet Potato Fries on the side or.. Pizza!

My secret "Ninja" exercise is...

Either Butterfly Pull-Ups or The Snatch. Really enjoy both.

My secret "Sucky" exercise is...

Pistols.. The struggle is real with them.
